Overview:
PETP [technical name Polyethylene teraphalate] is natural white colour [black is available by enquiry]. Kormax PETP has excellent dimensional stability coupled with excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high strength and resistance to moderate acid solutions making it very suitable for precision parts. Kormax PETP has a maximum continuous service temperature of 100ºC and its FDA compliance allows it to be used in direct contact with food stuffs. Impact resistance of Kormax PETP is limited due to its high strength and rigidity, but with low moisture absorption, gives good dimensional stability in wet environments.
