Aluminium 6061-T6

Aluminium 6061

Overview

Kormax Aluminium Alloy 6061 contains silicon to lower melting temperature and improve fluidity, and magnesium to improve strength and strain hardening ability. It is one of the most commonly found aluminium alloys with a medium to high strength and is heat-treatable. Often used for structural and aerospace applications, it has particularly good corrosion resistance to atmospheric conditions and very good weldability although reduced strength in the weld zone.

Aluminium 6082

Aluminium 6082-T6

6082 aluminium alloy is an alloy in the wrought aluminium-magnesium-silicon. It is one of the more popular alloys in its series, although it is not strongly featured in ASTM standards. It is typically formed by extrusion and rolling, but as a wrought alloy it is not used in casting. It can also be forged and clad, but that is not common practice with this alloy. It cannot be work hardened but is commonly heat treated to produce tempers with a higher strength but lower ductility.
Aluminium 6061

Aluminium 7075-T6

7075 aluminium alloy (AA7075) is an aluminium alloy, with zinc as the primary alloying element. It has excellent mechanical properties and exhibits good ductility, high strength, toughness and good resistance to fatigue. It is one of the most commonly used aluminium alloy for highly stressed structural applications and has been extensively utilized in aircraft structural parts.
